Every morning on weekdays, I go to Polytech from my residence Les Ormes. If I choose to walk straight there, it will cost me 10 minutes to reach the destination. There is also an autobus passing through the nearest bus stop every 15 minutes. If I take line-7 bus, it will costs me 1 minute to walk to the bus stop and only 4 minutes on bus. Let $\Delta$ be the time difference between the time that I leave my residence and the scheduled arriving time of the next bus. Theoretically, when $\Delta < 6$ going to the bus stop and taking a bus is more time-saving while when $\Delta < 6$ walking is better. But in reality, the interesting part is that the bus is not exactly arrive on time. Can I help me to make a choice of whether to take a bus or to walk ?
